Excellent review of the Giles Tippett book. He and I shared an editor at Dell many years ago. Tippett came to New York to meet the editor, got robbed at knifepoint in the elevator and later married the editor's secretary. The man lived as large as his hero, Kid Wilson Young.
I'm only adding this because I've been asked a few times, but yeah, I always accept review/preview copies. Who turns down free stuff? Email me at daniel.g.fleming@gmail.com for my mailing address. And thanks.
