Cover of the Week 7

Happy Valentine's Day.

And this is what  happens when you google search "blond" "gun" and "cover."

If the name Mickey Spillane was not present, I would seriously think this was the title of a soft-core porn.

    That's Sherri Spillane on the cover, who was Mick's wife at the time. When the hardcover was published, it was the first one in U.S. publishing history with a photo of a naked woman on the cover. Sold like hotcakes.

    After they divorced, Sherri became a "celebrity" agent, with clients like Joey Buttafuco, John Wayne Bobbitt, etc....
